I'm probably way too tired to make an effective post, but here we go.

Thanks to the wonderful and amazing nina_vendredi (damn, did I spell that right? Why'd you have to change your name to be all confusing? Do you know how long it took me to remember how to spell rhosyn_du?) I now have an AO3 account! Wheeeeeeee. Nothing posted yet, cause I just got back, but I'll get around to it eventually. I'm corellianrogue over there, too.

But more importantly, just got back from seeing the Vienna Boys Choir. Their encore was Bohemian Rhapsody. They also did a couple Billy Joel songs, and let me tell you, operatic Billy Joel is hilarious. But yeah, a bunch of pre-teen kids singing Bohemian Rhapsody. It was actually pretty cool, even if I started giggling a couple times cause OMG ADORABLE. Seriously. Adorable. OMG.

I feel like there was a third thing, but I'm too tired to remember. Oh well.

It took me a while to remember how to spell it, but that's what happens when you're trying to be clever in a language you don't know anything about XD

You should have thought of that ahead of time. ;P

But no, really, thanks. I don't know when I'll get around to uploading everything, but at least now I can keep track of all the shit I want to read without bookmarking everything. XD

It worked out pretty well. I'm glad I still had one left, now if they'd just start handing out invites like candy to users the way Dreamwidth was doing.

I can sort of see why they wouldn't. It sounds to me that, unlike Dreamwidth, they actually have to hire people to fix stuff whenever it breaks. So a slow increase in users makes sense.

Dreamwidth has also cashed in on the lucrative RPers-need-icons market, where AO3 doesn't really have services worth paying for. Donations maybe, but subscription, not so much.
