Current Sound Effects: Wicked- Dancing Through Life
Okay... so I'm listening to the Wicked soundtrack (and...maybe... trying to avoid homework, too, but shut up) and my fav song off that soundtrack is Dancing Through Life... which you'd think was a really happy song, right? I mean, Dancing Through Life, happy title right? And it's all upbeat and stuff. I LOVE this song, with a passion... and the singer has the dreamiest voice ever.... but... I think I'm just out of sorts right now, or something, but the lyrics seem really sad to me right now. Here's a snatch:

Dancing through life
No need to tough it
When you can slough it off as I do
Nothing matters
But knowing nothing matters
It's just life
So keep dancing through
...Those who don't try
Never look foolish

I don't know, maybe I'm insane, but "those who don't try never look foolish" doesn't seem like the best advice in the world to me. Course... that is kinda the path I've always followed anyway, but so what? *heh*

Anyway, that was just what got me posting. Also had something interesting to report. So the average on our bio test was a 78%. That's not especially sad until you find out that there were apparently (and I say apparently because our stupid prof refuses to give us back our papers until he figures out a way that we have to come see him, bleh) more than a few people who got 100s. So, the low was a 40%. THIS WAS THE EASIEST TEST *EVER* and someone still managed to get a 40. I don't even see how that's possible. Sigh. Was I that stupid when I was a freshman?

Note to self: must really see Wicked on stage sometime... really.

Hey, I thought high school US History tests were easy as pie and there were still a few people who got like 35% on 'em.

And didn't retake, even though there was an option to.

What stupid dumbasses D:
